  1. Gelert says:

    A Smile

    A smile,
    a smile in the eyes,
You’ve been waiting for a smile,
waiting for a smile in the eyes,
in the eyes of your reflection.

    A smile,
    a smile can disguise
    You never realised a smile,
    realised a smile can disguise
    can disguise the wrong direction.

    A smile,
a smile can be a snare
    Without warning a smile,
I’m warning a smile can be a snare,
    a snare for your affection.

    A smile,
    a smile’s but a mask,
And now the eyes are not a smile,
the eyes are not a smile but a mask,
    a mask in a collection.
